The government of Liberia has confirmed hiring three international lobby firms to lobby for the George Weah-led administration overseas.
Since Weah's election in 2017, his government has struggled to woo the support of historic allay—the United States.
President Weah has been accused by the opposition and anti-corruption institutions of presiding over a corrupt government amid widespread suffering of his people.
However, the country’s Information Minister Ledgerhood Rennie says the three international lobbying firms would turn the narrative around shortly.
