The family of former Liberian President Charles Taylor, is pushing for retirement benefits to be granted to the former president who is serving a 50-year jail term for war crimes he committed in neighboring Sierra Leone between 1999 and 2002.
Mr. Taylor recently filed a suit before the ECOWAS Court of Justice alleging the violation of his right to property by the Government of Liberia.
Taylor is currently in jail in the United Kingdom.
