Liberia’s Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC) has launched investigations into allegations of what is described as off-budget spending by the government.

The total amount is estimated at around 15 million dollars according to Fonati Koffa, Speaker of the House of Representatives who strongly criticized the unexplained expenditure.

Speaking during a parliamentary session on Tuesday, the lawmaker called for substantial reforms to Liberia’s Public Financial Management Law.
