Concerns have been raised in Ghana about threats and attacks against journalists in the country. At least 4 journalists including West Africa Journalist of the Year 2020 Manasseh Azure Awuni have received various messages, demanding they cease publishing articles about the December 7 election result.

While the Ghana Journalists association has condemned the threats, the information minister has charged the police service to immediately arrest and prosecution of perpetrators.
