In Nigeria, security authorities have re-arrested over 90 inmates of the estimated 240 who escaped the Medium Security Custodial Centre (MSCC) in Kabba, Kogi State, North Central of Nigeria. 

Recall that on Sunday night, two security operatives were killed when gunmen invaded the prison and freed the inmates.

A man hunt is currently ongoing for the escapees and the gunmen who facilitated their release.

Speaking on TVC news Nigeria, spokesperson for the Kogi state government, Mohammed Onogwu said security agencies were collaborating to arrest all persons involved.
