The Kaduna State Government has confirmed the killing of an official attached to the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency, after a terrorist invasion of the Kaduna International Airport over the weekend.
The Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Mr Samuel Aruwan confirmed the attack in a statement.
Mr Auwan adds that military personnel were immediately deployed for reinforcement and succeeded in chasing the terrorists, seizing some of their motorcycles.
The terrorists, numbering over 200, also allegedly grounded a Lagos-bound commercial aircraft from taking off.
