In The Gambia, the limited access to comprehensive health education for adolescents in the Gambia is a growing concern.

In response to this, a five-year project called Strengthening Access to Quality Comprehensive Health Education in the Gambia was implemented in Region One of 2020 by the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education and its partners.
