Stakeholders in the immigration sector are calling for increased gender mainstreaming in migration policies to address inequalities and promote inclusivity. 

The International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) and its partner organizations, including the Nigeria Immigration Service and Ghana Immigration Service, discussed this issue during a media event in commemoration of the UN International Women’s Day in 2024.
