A delegation from the International Criminal Court ICC has arrived in Conakry, the Guinean capital ahead of the trial of suspects in the September 2009 massacres.
The head of the transition Colonel Mamady Doumbouya had instructed his Minister of Justice to hold a trial before the 13th anniversary of this tragedy.
The ICC delegation is due to meet with several actors including representatives of the victims’ families tomorrow.
Already, expectations are high as the team members have noted that preparations are adequate for the hearings to begin.
