At least six soldiers and a police officer have been reported killed in an ambush by gunmen in Tati, a community in Takum Local Government Area, in Nigeria North East region of Taraba State.
Spokesman of the Command, Deputy Superintendent of Police Abdullahi Usman, told newsmen that the slain officers were on their way to respond to a distress call when they were waylaid and killed.
Abdullahi alleged that Kutep and Fulani militia were responsible of the killings of the military personnel and the mobile police.
