The court has decided the reclassification of events related to the incidents of September 28, 2009.

After several days of arguments, the court ruled on Thursday that this matter would be addressed in the final decision on the case, which will be issued after the trial.

While the public prosecutor and the prosecution express satisfaction with this decision, the defense contends that it violates the Guinean Penal Code and plans to challenge it before the High Council of the Judiciary.

The defense has announced its intention to boycott the upcoming court sessions in protest against these proceedings.

The court’s ruling on the recharacterization of the events, as requested by the prosecution, has sparked controversy within the defense team, with allegations of bias directed at Judge Ibrahima Sory Tounkara.

Attorney Jokamé Haba and Counsel Hamidou Barry argue that only a recharacterization of the facts would allow for a fair assessment of the case by the legal representatives.

A crucial moment in the trial approaches on March 25, marking the beginning of the confrontation between the defendants
