Health authorities in Guinea are intensifying efforts to vaccinate at least 40 percent of the population before the end of the year.
So far, 20 percent of people living in the country have been vaccinated.
In the past few weeks, the authorities say the number of new Covid19 cases recorded daily have more than doubled, hence the reinforcement of barrier measures and need for increased mass vaccination.
