The Guinean capital where Chief Warrant Officer Moriba Camara, appeared at the Dixinn court yesterday for the killing of a teenager on June 1 2022.

A member of the number 1 anti-crime squad, Camara is accused of the death of Thierno Mamadou Diallo, during a demonstration against a fuel price hike last year.

He is being prosecuted for murder and criminal abstention.

The chief warrant officer denies these allegations but agreed to have fired two warning shots to disperse the demonstrators, who he said barricaded the road to Hamdallaye.

Hours after the trial began, the case was adjourned to February 13 for further hearing.
