Guinea Bissau has a new government following the inauguration of the cabinet by President Umaro Sissoco Embalo.
The appointment was confirmed by a presidential decree issued on Saturday.
Strategic positions in the ministerial appointment went to the opposition coalition which the nation’s historic PAIGC party is a member.
As a reminder, the African Party for the Independence of Guinea and Cape Verde (PAIGC) secured the most seats at the June legislative elections.
