The IMANI Centre for Policy and Education, in collaboration with Professor Kwesi Aning from the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre, has launched legal proceedings against the Attorney General.

They aim to challenge the appointment procedures for leaders of uniformed security agencies.

This petition, filed with the Supreme Court on March 11, 2024, seeks to address apprehensions regarding the practice of new administrations prematurely terminating the tenures of certain institutional heads.

From Accra, Naa Dedei Tettey completes the story.
