Ghana’s chair for civic education is to leave her position later this year to pick up a new job with the Economic Community for West Africa States,  ECOWAS.

Josephine Nkrumah worked with the national commission for civic education in Ghana for the last 7 years prior to her appointment as ECOWAS Ambassador to Liberia.

At a brief ceremony at Ghana’s seat of government, the incoming ECOWAS ambassador to Liberia asked the chairman of the heads of state for ECOWAS, Nana Akufo-Addo for guidance in her new role.
