Ghana’s $6.6bn lithium mining deal to create thousands of jobs

Ghana is poised to generate approximately $6.6 billion USD annually from its lithium deposits once mining operations commence in 2026, resulting in the creation of 1,000 to 2,000 jobs within the country.

The mining contract has been awarded to Atlantic Lithium Limited, an Australian company selected through the bidding process.
