The University Teachers Association of Ghana UTAG has intensified its ongoing strike. 

The Association in a statement signed by its national secretary Dr Asare Asante-Annor noted that after its consultation with all 15 member branches, the general membership expressed their dissatisfaction with the directive of the NLC to call off the strike. 

According to the statement, members were of a contrary view, hence the decision to unanimously continue with the withdrawal of teaching and related services until further notice.
