Ghana’s President Nana Akufo-Addo has announced that the next academic year for new and continuing university students will resume in January 2021.

 This comes seven months after schools shut down as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

 Currently, Ghana’s active case count stands at 382 with 310 deaths. Addressing the nation late last night, President Akufo-Addo added that the economy is bouncing back after a slow down due to the virus outbreak.
