Ghana’s Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, has ordered the Minister for Roads and Highways, to immediately withdraw a press release calling for the cessation of collection of road tolls.

It comes as some tollbooth workers stationed at Kasoa and Tema in the Central and Greater Accra Regions became unhappy over the government's decision to scrap all tollbooths.
