Ghana’s President Nana Akufo-Addo has announced the reopening of schools this month. While Kindergarten and Junior High School pupils are to return to school on January 15, 2021, first-year Senior High School students will start classes on March 10 with form 2 and 3 students resuming on January 18.

Meanwhile, tertiary students will return to lecture halls from Saturday, Janurary 9, 2021. In his 21^st address to the nation on Sunday night, President Akufo-Addo noted that all COVID-19 protocols will be enforced to ensure the virus does not spread.
