Ghana’s president Nana Akufo-Ado, in a BBC monitored interview, has justified the passage of the e-levy, a controversial tax law which seeks to charge a fee on all electronic financial transactions of citizens in the country.
The now passed law has been strongly opposed by citizens despite worsening economic conditions in the West African state.
