Ghana’s President Nana Akufo-Addo has ordered the Inspector General of Police to enforce laws making the wearing of face masks mandatory. 

This follows a steep surge in the country’s case count attributed to the non-compliance with COVID protocols.

Addressing the nation on Sunday night, President Akufo-Addo warned that increasing Covid19 cases could result in another lockdown.
