The Ghana Police Service has released details of 4,098 flashpoints across the country that could experience electoral violence ahead of the December election. The list provided to the National Election Security Taskforce is expected to guide tactical arrangements and deployments across the country’s 16 regions.
Already there have been pockets of violence in parts of the Ashanti and Greater Accra regions with concerns the poll could have more violence.
The police have meanwhile assured they are up to the task to ensure a peaceful poll.
