Ghana’s Military High Command has appointed a four-member committee to investigate last Thursday’s assault by some soldiers on some residents of the Upper West Regional capital, Wa.

The Upper West Regional Minister, Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih, disclosed the information on his official Facebook handle, while indicating that “the committee is headed by Colonel B Z Ayorrogo of the Ghana Armed Forces”.

According to the minister about thirteen victims of the incident have lodged formal complaints at the Upper West Regional Police Command, while three of them also reported to the regional hospital for treatment.
