Ghanaian President Nana Akufo-Addo is expected to officially launch the country’s bid for a seat on the UN Security Council in early June.

The country’s campaign pitched to the UN is on the theme, “Enhancing Global Peace and Security for Sustainable and Inclusive Peace Development”.

The theme defines Ghana’s role within the United Nations Security Council while actively pursuing the global critical agenda of international peace and security.
