Ghana’s foreign affairs minister, Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey says, President Nana Akufo-Addo has provided leadership to ECOWAS in addressing the sources of division and instability in member states.

According to her, despite the increase in coup d’états recorded in the ECOWAS sub-region, ECOWAS Chair, Akufo-Addo along with the other heads of state have shown great leadership in helping address the issue of coup in the continent.

The Minister while addressing the press in Accra, the Ghanaian capital said the number of commissions and their resultant budgets have been reduced aimed at helping citizens in member states feel ECOWAS.
