Ghana’s Health Minister-designate Kwaku Agyeman-Manu has said an amount of USD100 million allocated to the ministry to fight COVID-19 has been exhausted.
The minister designate who was substantive minister during the first term of President Nana Akufo-Addo disclosed this when he was vetted by the Appointments Committee of Parliament on Wednesday.
The national defence minister designate who was also vetted on Wednesday, told the committee that the Chief of Defence Staff has been asked to launch an investigation into the infamous invasion of Parliament by the military on the eve of swearing-in of the 8th Parliament.
