Ghana’s largest Christian formation, the Christian Council has strongly cautioned the government to hasten slowly in deploying troops to Niger. 

This comes after several groups within the public, including politicians, security experts, and civil society organizations, criticized ECOWAS’ choice to send soldiers to Niamey to among other things restore law and order and reinstate President Mohammed Bazuom.
