In Ghana, the embattled Chinese illegal mining queen, Aisha Huang, is married to a Ghanaian, her lawyer has said. 

Mr. Nkrabeah Effah Dartey said his client’s husband is a businessman. 

While his identity is unknown, the revelation has further sparked debate about the manner at which the accused left the country in 2018.

WADR’s Eric Mawuena Egbeta was in court on Wednesday where she is standing trial.
