The Chadian ambassador to Germany, Mariam Ali Moussa, has been ordered to leave the country by the German government, following the expulsion of its ambassador from Chad.

The German Foreign Minister, Annalena Baerbock, announced on Twitter that the Chadian ambassador had 48 hours to vacate German territory.

Baerbock stated that the decision was made in response to the unjustified expulsion of the German ambassador to Chad, Jean Christian Gordon Kriche, who was ordered to leave his post by the Chadian authorities for allegedly displaying discourteous attitudes and failing to adhere to protocol practices.

The German Foreign Minister has rejected these claims, stating that Kriche conducted his duties in an exemplary manner and worked to promote human rights and the transition to a civilian government in Chad.
