There are high indications that General Mamady Doumbouya will be able to run for the presidential election in Guinea. This will be after the new constitution, which allows that leaders of a transition are able to stand as candidates is adopted in a referendum, as indicated by the Minister Secretary General at the Presidency.

General Amara Camara specified that from now on, the presidential election will be organized first, followed by legislative and municipal elections.
