Reactions have continued to trail the appointment of the leader of the former ruling Alliance for Patriotic, Reorientation and Construction (APRC) party to the parliament.
Fabakary Tombong Jatta’s appointment was confirmed in a statement last week Wednesday from President Adama Barrow’s office.
Shortly after Mr Jatta’s appointment as an MP, he was elected by parliamentarians as the speaker of the assembly.
