Gambian President Adama Barrow has called for peace within and outside his country.
Addressing the nation on the eve of the Eid-ul Fitr celebration, President Barrow says peace is priceless and urged Gambians to remain peaceful.
In light of the ongoing armed conflict in the Senegalese region of Casamance, the Gambian leader adds that he is in talks with President Macky Sall to ensure peace returns to the affected region.
More than six thousand people have been displaced since the fighting began between the Senegalese army and rebels in the region.
