The Gambia’s contentious draft constitution thrown out by parliamentarians 3 years ago may be reconsidered after political party leaders held a session on the resumption of the Constitutional Reform Process.

The meeting on Monday was organised by the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (International IDEA) and was aimed at relaunching the Draft Constitution
