Gambian nationals residing in Germany over the weekend protested in response to a comment made by the mayor of Tubingen, Boris Palmer, which they deemed to be racist.
The comment was made after a Gambian citizen, Basiru Jallow, was fatally stabbed by a Croatian.
The mayor, Boris Palmer, described the deceased as a drug dealer, which caused outrage and led to the protest.
