The Gambia has benefited in grants worth over a billion dollars from the Islamic Development Bank, ISDB.

The head of the bank Dr Muhammad Al Jasser disclosed this in Banjul after a closed-door meeting with the Gambian president Adama Barrow on Sunday.

The IsDB head said they had signed a grant with the Government to enhance productivity in agriculture by providing suitable crop varieties
