Gambia President Adama Barrow has decried what he calls the divisive politics that characterized the just ended legislative elections and the run up to the polls.
Saturdays election saw President Barrow's National People's Party winning 19 of the 53 parliamentary seats up for grabs, overturning the main opposition United Democratic Party's majority.
Speaking to the press for the first time since the election, the President called for peace and unity among the various political parties.
