Members of Gambian opposition party United Democratic Party (UDP) were over the weekend attacked in the village of former President Yahya Jammeh.

According to the party spokesperson Almamy Taal, the delegation consisted members of the party's voter registration monitoring team. Almamy Taal has been narrating events to WADR’s Sankullah Janko.
