Security fears are growing within The Gambia’s foreign exchange sector following the fatal stabbing of a forex bureau employee.
The Association of Licensed Forex Bureaus (ALFOB) has condemned the attack, describing it as a serious threat to workers across the industry.
The victim, Isatou Fatty, is the second forex bureau employee to be killed under similar circumstances, intensifying concerns over staff safety.
Traders are now calling on authorities to strengthen security measures to protect workers and prevent further attacks.
