The discovery of the UK strain of the coronavirus in the Gambia is worrying school administrators.
This is because the country lacks the means to implement a comprehensive distance learning program for its students should the cases increase thereby resulting in the closure of schools.
Schools in the country were forced to close at the onset of the pandemic leaving the government struggling to devise distance learning programs to keep the students engaged.
