Members of the National Food Suppliers Association of Ghana spent the night at the premises of the National Food Buffer Stock Company ((NAFCO) to demand payment of money owed to them.
The suppliers who travelled from all regions across the country say the government owes them 24 million USD for food that was supplied to Senior High Schools across the country from 2021 to 2023.
A spokesperson of the group, Kwame Amedume who spoke to WADR says that they will continue to stay and spend the night at their premises until their arrears are paid in full.
