Côte d’Ivoire’s political landscape is heating up as Antoine Tiémoko Assalé, Deputy Mayor of Tiassalé, officially enters the race for the October 2025 presidential election.
Running under the banner of his civic movement, “Today, Tomorrow Côte d’Ivoire” (ADCI), Assalé is positioning himself as an independent candidate representing a new generation of political leaders.
His campaign emphasizes tackling corruption and cutting budgetary waste by eliminating costly institutions. The Tiassalé lawmaker also calls for inclusive elections that reflect the will of all Ivorians.
