Four persons have been confirmed dead and over 6,000 others displaced following heavy rains in the North East Region.

Over 1,000 houses have also been submerged in water and thousands of dollars worth of property including homes and livestock have been washed away by flood waters. 

Passengers, students, and traders have also had their movements disrupted due to the collapse of major road infrastructure in the region;
