A world conference on the elimination of child labor opened on Sunday in Durban, South Africa.
The conference focused on the rising number of child laborers aggravated by the covid19 pandemic, attracts over 4,000 government delegates, trade unions, private and civil society, and young people from all over the world.
At the opening ceremony, experts said progress has been made in the elimination of child labor but still, the numbers are rising globally, especially in the developing economies.
