Ex-Gambian President Yahya Jammeh has been contacted by the International Criminal Court, ICC in relation to allegations of human rights abuses.

The ICC is currently believed to be pursuing possible charges against Jammeh.

This comes following the recommendations of the Gambia’s Truth Reconciliation and Reparations Commission to prosecute the former military man.
