The European Union (EU) has announced plans to disburse 655 million CFA francs to the Network of online press professionals in Côte d'Ivoire (REPPRELCI). 

As Usman Umar reports, the grant is to support the fight against false information which can destabilize institutions and destroy the confidence of citizens.
