Liberia’s electoral umpire, The National Elections Commission NEC on Saturday concluded a rerun election for two polling units in Nimba County.
Recall, that the commission had announced Friday as the rerun date after two ballot boxes were stolen during the collation of votes of the October 10 presidential and legislative elections.
According to the commission, those responsible have already been apprehended by the security operatives.
As Liberians anticipate the announcement of the final official result on Tuesday by the electoral body, election observers say this result has no significant effect on the presidential result.
