The Education Cannot Wait International Initiative announces the disbursement of 33.3 million dollars in investment grants in response to the health and humanitarian crisis affecting the central Sahel in Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger.
These investments, the organization say, will result in a total of 103 million dollars in immediate education investments approved last month for refugee, forcibly displaced children living in host communities and other vulnerable girls and boys.
The fund will also benefit crisis affected children from Democratic Republic of the Congo, Nigeria, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru.
