The 7th ECOWAS Regional Electricity Regulatory Authority summit is underway in the Gambian capital – Banjul.

The flagship event is hosted by the Gambia Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA).

The forum brought together major stakeholders including representatives of the Ministries in charge of Energy, regulatory authorities, utility companies, parliamentarians, academics, and researchers,

Others are consumer groups, regional and international financial institutions, as well as development partners.
